ASL @ Work

DHHS is offering professionals who work with Deaf individuals or clients the opportunity to learn basic American Sign Language. This is the solution if you don’t have the time or inclination for a weekly class. Held on a Friday/Saturday, this course is intended for those who work with colleagues, staff or clients who are Deaf and communicate in American Sign Language.
Please note this course is set at an introductory level.

14 hours of instruction

Choose from:

Dates: Friday, September 21 and Saturday September 22, 2012

Dates: Friday, November 30 and Saturday December 1, 2012

Time: 9 am – 4 pm each day.

The registration fee for employees of non-profit organizations is $200+GST for the first person and $150+GST for each additional person.

For Private sector employees, registration is $250+GST for the first person and $200+GST for each additional person.

Please bring a water bottle and a notebook. Lunch is provided.
