Deaf Services
Our Deaf Community Liaison acts as the first point of contact for the Deaf community. Responding to the needs of individuals and families, the Liaison provides consultation and direction to Deaf persons to help them navigate the issues and obstacles they face, by referring clients to internal resources (such as interpreting or equipment services) or to external community agencies and partners. The Deaf Community Liaison also educates businesses, organizations and groups to increase awareness and understanding of the needs and issues of the Deaf.
