Hard of Hearing
Calgary Hard of Hearing Association. CHHA-Calgary is the Calgary branch of the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association (CHHA). The CHHA, formed in 1982, is a non-profit, self-help consumer organization, which is the national voice of Canadians who are hard of hearing. Like its parent organization, CHHA-Calgary is formed by, and for, Calgarians who are hard of hearing, to promote self-help and public awareness of hearing loss.
Canadian Hard of Hearing Association. The Canadian Hard of Hearing Association (CHHA) is a consumer-based organization formed by and for hard of hearing Canadians. CHHA works cooperatively with professionals, service providers and government bodies, and provides information about hard of hearing issues and solutions. CHHA is Canada’s only nation-wide non-profit consumer organization run by and for hard of hearing people. CHHA works to eliminate the isolation, indignation, and frustration of hard of hearing and deafened persons by assisting in increasing personal self esteem and confidence which will lead to total integration in society.

Alberta Association of the Deaf. The primary purpose of the Alberta Association of the Deaf (AAD) is to promote equal rights for Deaf Albertans while endeavoring to improve the quality of life for Deaf people in general.
Interpreting
The Alberta Chapter of the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf. Inc. Incorporated in 1978, ACRID is a registered non-profit organization comprised of persons interested in supporting the goals of the organization, and professional sign language interpreters who provide quality interpreting services to hearing, hard of hearing, or Deaf individuals.

By working collaboratively with government, companies and local and regional disability organizations, Champions aims to ensure an estimated 38,000 working age Albertans with disabilities have full and equal access to career and employment opportunities. Champions provides an integrated approach to assessment, career counseling, Disability Related Employment Supports or “DRES”, external referrals, job search, job maintenance, job placement and case management.

Campbell McLaurin Foundation
The Campbell McLaurin Foundation grants financial support to individuals for the provision of medical treatment or equipment that will assist with a hearing deficiency. Typical requests are for financial assistance to purchase hearing aids and alerting devices.
